Rainbow Popcorn

My sister-in-law just came back from sunny, luxurious Qatar recently and brought us all gifts – huge bags of multi-coloured, multi-flavoured popcorn for us to enjoy. My husband and I enjoyed guessing the flavours (after I took about a hundred pictures and wouldn’t let him touch any) – and this is my favourite.

Who said you can’t play with your food, eh?

We Love Miniatures <3: Mini Drums from Morocco

A friend of my husband comes from Morocco and brought these pretty miniature key-rings back from a recent trip. I love the mini drums so naturally picked the yellow one (because deep down, I’m the yellow Powder Ranger). It’s currently sitting on my bedroom window sill (next to all my lipsticks) and I love how beautifully detailed and well-made it is.

A nice way to start the week, and a nice addition to my keyring collection!

Journal Your Ramadan – Day #13: In my kitchen

Thought I’d show you a few things that we have in our kitchen, apart from the usual pots and pans and spoons, basically the little pretty and quirky things which make up all the home delights in our kitchen. I won’t mention our chocolate stash in our cupboards, though.

A postcard we have, one of my favourite ones (My mum thought it was a bit strange that I wanted to take a picture of it, but she’s used to me by now!)
