Writing on the Wall: A Horseman & A Donkey Rider

I don’t often see art on people’s houses – although plenty on street walls, pavements and commercial/random buildings! – so thought this was quite interesting, a silhouette plaque of a knight and a commoner (or perhaps the knight’s valet, I have no idea.) I don’t think this is artwork is necessarily a critical comment on class, history, or even art, and I can’t even be definite that this is a knight – but I do think there is something quirky and cute about this.

Maybe the house-owner just really likes horses.
