I love seeing old, plain walls re-converted into bright, colourful art to give it a different view, for some reason it makes me feel like it’s a real community boost. This is some wall art I saw in the subways of Leyton, which I thought was great, especially the fact that in some paintings, real doors were incorporated into paintings to give a cheery scene.
My favourite is the second one, mostly because it reminds me of a book I read when I was younger about a family trying to run a cafe in the 70s, and the adventures that the children get up to. No idea what it’s called now, but it was a good read!
